Ready to Meet Me?

Christina Devore, MA, LPCC

Mental Health Therapist

I embarked on the path towards becoming a therapist after I took a psychology course as an elective, when I first started experiencing college in my mid-twenties. For the first time, I gained some understanding of why I had developed certain coping skills to survive, which were in response to my traumas. The chains of shame began to melt away and I discovered self-acceptance and compassion. What drove me to continue pursuing this journey was the acknowledgment that my own wounds were healing, as I began reconnecting with self, and making new connections with others and the natural world. My aspiration is to serve as a guide for you, just as many have done for me, assisting you on your quest towards healing, through the power of connection.

When I am not working with clients, you will typically find me engaging in the various outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer, practicing guitar, singing karaoke, playing pool, experimenting with cooking, spending time with friends or getting way too excited about some sports team winning or losing. If you do decide to pursue this journey with me, you will probably get to hear about, or possibly even meet my cat, Ninja, who found her way to me about a decade ago when she was just a kitten. She has been my snuggle-buddy and my emotional support animal ever since. If you would like to learn more about me, feel free to reach out and ask.
